We were a party of 10 - which is rarely a good starting point to book activities - and if it wasn't for the help of Bookindouro, lead by Bruno's empathy and availability, we would still be discussing where to go and what to do next. On top of that, we also had to plan an entire and special birthday in total secret for one of us.
Apart from all the activities that Bookindouro aggregates on the website - which is by far the most complete I've ever seen - Bruno's help was fundamental. He helped us find the best solution for everything, including accommodation suggestions and ideas for the birthday party. Being a duriense (people born in Douro region), he knows the area extremely well and can provide solutions and recommendations that you couldn't find on our own.
We lunched in the most beautiful terrace on top of Pinhão's valley, sailed through Douro's waters in a private Rabelo boat with drinks included and he even found out a great Chef to go to our house and prepare us an incredible dinner! All of this with a private driver :)
You can book activities in any website you can find, but you can only find this kind of commitment to see your plans sorted out with Bookindouro.

If you’re looking for a truly spectacular day in Douro, Bruno and his amazing partners will take you on a beautiful journey through this breathtaking area! I had the pleasure of being personally chauffeured from my Douro lodging to meet the rest of our tour group. We started the day visiting a family owned Quinta tasting their lovely wines, ports, olive oil and grape jam. From there, we enjoyed a boat ride on the Douro River (with port and snacks) followed by a private dinner at a partner’s house with delicious food and drink prepared by two chefs. I was then chauffeured back to my Douro lodging reflecting on what an incredible experience Bookindouro had curated! Muito obrigada, Bruno, Nani and Nuno!!

Bruno from Bookindouro organised everything for our weekend of birthday celebrations with friends including a boat trip, a yoga and a massage session, a winery visit. He also liaised with our host on having a dinner with a chef on site. Everything was flawlessly organised. Excellent experience from booking/booking with an assistance service that was always very careful, helpful and professional, with absolutely nothing missing.
The boat trip was very pleasant, didactic and exceptional class. With moments of great humor, good eating and drinking, surrounded by an exquisite environment and landscapes of the Douro Valley. Definitely going to be repeated, as this was only the second time.
