The Association for the Study and Protection of Asinino Donkey (AEPGA) is an environmental non-governmental organization (ONGA). Created in 2001, its work has been mainly oriented towards the preservation of the Miranda Donkey, its promotion and dignification, not only as a genetic heritage, but also as an important cultural heritage. In this sense, in addition to the proximity it maintains with breeders, in order to guarantee the well-being of donkeys and mules, it has been organizing activities that publicize the cultural richness of this animal's manor - the Mirandês Plateau. All income from this experience revert to AEPGA.
The donkey can be shared by up to 4 people, alternating during the journey.
Donkeys will above all be your traveling companions - only minors up to 12 years old can climb on donkey's back.
