Located on the right bank of the Douro River, between Régua and Pinhão, "Quinta do Crasto" has been owned by the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century. Its origin dates back to the XVII century, with the first known references dating from 1615. The property has about 130 hectares, which include a significant percentage of old vines, with an average of 70 years old, where the famous "Vinha Maria Teresa" and Vinha da Ponte, where the special category wines of Quinta do Crasto are born. In addition to the production of premium wines, Quinta do Crasto produces three categories of Port wine – Finest Reserve, LBV and Vintage, and has more recently started to produce superior olive oil, already having two references – Premium and Selection. It is a Quinta full of distinctions from all over the world. We highlight the award for best wine in 1995 received by the International Wine Challenge and the award for "Vinhas Velhas Reserva 2005" as the third best wine in the world distinguished by the prestigious Wine Spectator in 2008. Since then, the distinctions have never stopped. It's really worth coming to do this taste with us!
