On this Tour, your first destination will be the village of Casal de Loivos. Here you will take a tour of an old oil mill turned museum, which will allow you to know and understand a little more about this asset so important to the region. This visit ends with a tasting of 3 table wines, olive oil, almonds and honey. Then, you will descend to the village of Pinhão, where you will visit the train station, an ex-libris of the region, decorated with 24 tile panels that portray the history and traditions of the Douro Valley. The trip continues with a 45min boat cruise, which will allow you to have a better perspective of the great wine producers located there. The landing will take place at Quinta de Ventozelo, the crown jewel of the Gran Cruz Corporation. Lunch will be served here. Its “Farm to Fork” concept was considered in 2021 by National Geographic as one of the 3 best dining experiences in the world. Lunch will be accompanied by 3 Estate wines. After lunch, you will visit the Museum, where you will discover the Douro Valley in a single Estate, and you will be able to compare a large producer with a small one, knowing the process of producing Port Wine from this award-winning vineyard.Finally, it will be time for our Port Wine and final tasting at Quinta Seara D’Ordens, family property since 1792. The return trip will take 1h30, during which time you can relax rocked for the silence that the electric vehicle provides.
